Bitter kola, which has it's botanical name ( Garcinia kola ) is a very popular medicinal seed in West Africa—especially Nigeria—and it’s used both as food and traditional medicine 🌿

It belongs to the Clusiaceae (Guttiferae) family.




What is bitter kola?

Bitter kola is a chewy, bitter seed taken raw or dried. It contains natural compounds like flavonoids, antioxidants, and alkaloids that support the body.
