Chapter Eight - communion and fellowship

  2 Corinthians 13:14 (AMP)

"The grace (favor and spiritual blessing) of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the presence and fellowship (the communion and sharing together, and participation) in the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen (so be it)."


Just like when God made Adam, God decided he should not be alone; when you receive the new life, the Holy Spirit is given to you so that you would not be alone. Unlike Eve to Adam, he's superior to you, and he leads you by the reins of your heart.



He isn't just here to boss you; he's here to help you, to comfort you, to teach and strengthen you—to enable you to know all that you are and all that you have in Christ. He's come to make you a success, to reveal all things to you, to give you dominion and excellence, and to help you fulfill your Divine destiny! Above all, he is your friend.



Deut. 32:30 (KJV) "How could one chase a thousand, And two put ten thousand to flight, unless their Rock had sold them, And the LORD had surrendered them?"



The Holy Spirit is the one that makes you two. You are united; his abilities become your abilities, and his knowledge becomes your knowledge. His power is yours! His authority is yours! That is why, when you know the Holy Spirit, you become kind, patient, forgiving, enduring—and he becomes you. He looks like you. He's shaped like you. He looked like Jesus when Jesus walked on earth—the express image of the Father, God in flesh. Now, as long as you have the Holy Ghost and you are united with him, you are him; he is you. Where is God? Look at him! Look at me!
