Say it:
"I'm rapture ready!"
"I'm overcoming every tribulation."
In the book of Revelations, the Lord says some of us are going to die. But do not be afraid of him who kills the body; fear Him who condemns the soul and spirit!
We are forever alive unto God, and Christ our Lord is the Resurrection and the Life. Hallelujah!
The Persecution of the Martyrs
Acts 23:1, 6, 11–13 ESV
[1] And looking intently at the council, Paul said, “Brothers, I have lived my life before God in all good conscience up to this day.”
[6] Now when Paul perceived that one part were Sadducees and the other Pharisees, he cried out in the council, “Brothers, I am a Pharisee, a son of Pharisees. It is with respect to the hope and the resurrection of the dead that I am on trial.”
[11] The following night the Lord stood by him and said, “Take courage, for as you have testified to the facts about Me in Jerusalem, so you must testify also in Rome.”
[12] When it was day, the Jews made a plot and bound themselves by an oath neither to eat nor drink till they had killed Paul.
[13] There were more than forty who made this conspiracy."
What would you do when you are faced with the penalty and sentence of death upon your life? Would you shrink, or would you advance?
Who is a martyr?
Some of us may be accused wrongly, set up for things we did not do. It does not count.
The message of the gospel is worth dying for.
