Learn to hurt people's feelings unapologetically. Some persons talk too much. You don't owe so much explanation. There's a misunderstanding? If you aren't given the chance to clear your name, choose not to care.
Some persons are too cordial. They have church programs and while the Senior Pastors are imparting wisdom, vision and counsel, these persons are hopping from seat to seat greeting everybody.
When responsibilities are put in awareness, they don't recognize them because they've been reconnecting with old friends.
When duty calls, sentiments step aside.
Discipline
"Oh I need to pee."
"Oh I'm hungry!"
"Oh I feel hot, I need to fan myself!"
Stop complaining.
That's how you get distracted. And that's how you distract others.
Moving around when church programs are going on is gross indiscipline. That's why two persons enter a meeting, but one is fruitful, and the other is just as before. The only thing he/she leaves with are pictures of the nice places and faces.
If you have a wardrobe malfunction or a health challenge that needs immediate attention, that's understandable. You only oblige when the circumstances are beyond remedy.
