Psalm 1:1, 1-2 (KJV)
"[1] Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor
standeth in the way of sinners, Nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. [2] But his
delight is in the law of the LORD; And in his law doth he meditate day and night."
A scorner is one who mocks, ridicules, or shows contempt for others. This is
the ministry Satan received when he lost his Luminous ministry.
There's an outrageous record of Mad Kings in history. Some of our leaders
have mental health issues and earnestly belong to Asylums, but we need to
manage their conditions for them by praying for them, because their shame
is our shame. Hence: we need to hide their conditions, and understand they
carry so much frustration, and the burden of the whole world. When we
don't manage their conditions what happens? Other nations laugh at us. They
are made laughing stocks, and are unappreciated for their little/meagre
sacrifices. Hence they set rage baits by constantly criticizing the youth.
They have no peace of mind, I call it the "Saul" syndrome. But who's going to
be the David to play the harp? And what is the guarantee that spears won't be
sent flying at this sacrificial lamb?
We need to hold our leaders in high esteem. No matter how psychotic they
appear, they rose through pain and precision. Even though they force
themselves on us, we owe them honor and respect.
In Christ we are not trained to scorn. It's ungodly, and it's of the devil. Many
have scorned others out of the church. They are doing the work of their
father, the devil. Seasonally, even some children of God do the works of the
devil because of shallow mindedness, and ignorance.
As you scorn the House of Reps, if you are asked to sit behind the Presidential
seat for a day, what can you do? Nothing. You scorn the good, you scorn the
bad. Now you start comparing the past and the present ones and start
making wish lists.
Some Christians are influenced by demons to scorn their helpers out of
service. Now who's going to do the work? The seat is empty. If all the seats get
empty, who would do the work?
Instead of scorning, make yourself useful and solve the problems.
Proverbs 9:8 says "rebuke a scorner and he would hate you. Rebuke a wise man and he would love you."
A wise man wouldn't just love you, he'd amend his ways.
Anger dwells in the bosom of fools, but a wise man withholds wrath.
You do not rebuke Scorners lightly, for their good, and the betterment of mankind.
John 15:19-20 ESV
"[19] If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but
because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore
the world hates you. [20] Remember the word that I said to you: ‘A servant is
not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted me, they will also persecute
you. If they kept my word, they will also keep yours."
By persecuting Christians you are actively carrying out the ministry of the
devil. Are you for God or against God?
Tell yourself "I have control over my tongue."
Such persons never offer any value or assistance. They are always on the line
of critics. They use their intelligence for decapitating menace.
Gossip, telling lies and, bearing false witnesses against a Christian or non
Christian is the ministry of the devil.
The Lord addressed Paul "Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?"
If the recreated man in Christ carries the fullness of God just like Christ, then
he is an ambassador of Christ. That only? No. He is a representative of Christ.
That only? No. He is God in flesh. So then, if you scorn a carrier of God, who
really are you kicking against? God.
The same God who has said, "I would bless those who bless you, and curse those who curse you."
Irrefutably, a blessed Christian can be cursed when he curses the man who
God has blessed. Hence, he's constantly at war with himself and with
everyone around him.
Any Christian who chooses to scorn is seating on the seat of the scornful and
he becomes ungodly. He becomes a sinner. He hinders blessings from coming
his way. He becomes repelling like a foul stench. He would be an attraction
site for demons. And for angels? He'd be an eyesore. One they cannot even
look at. He'd be continually ignored.
The Lord also warned, "Do not touch my anointed, and do my Prophets no harm."
Some people look ordinary, non elite, but you have no clue the forces they
interact with when mortals are fast asleep.
The Lord Jesus has left us peace, and he wants us to be ministers of peace, and
not affiliates of the Scorners ministry.
Any Christian who does not demonstrate the peace of our Lord Jesus, and the
love of Christ is a false brethren, a swindler, and wolf in sheep clothing.
One day the breeze would blow, and the hens lower extremities would be visible for all to see.
May our garments continually be kept downwards in Jesus name, amen.
James 3:1-2, 13 ESV
"[1] Not many of you should become teachers, my brothers, for you know that
we who teach will be judged with greater strictness. [2] For we all stumble in
many ways. And if anyone does not stumble in what he says, he is a perfect man,
able also to bridle his whole body.
[13] Who is wise and understanding among you? By his good conduct let him
show his works in the meekness of wisdom."
If you truly want to be as perfect as you claim, tame your tongue.
Say this :
'My mouth is for Gracious communication and edification.
I denounce the ministry of gossip and scorning.
My mouth is for the praise and adoration of the living God.
I refuse to Persecute the church, and do the ministry of the devil, because I am of God.
I walk in love, and I have peace of mind.'
A Prayer For You:
May God grant you soundness of mind, and may he free you from every guilt
eating you up. May he help you receive the love God has planned for you, and
may he cover you from your secret faults.
Blessed is the man whose transgressions are remembered no more. Yes, God
has totally forgiven you, and he loves you, and he would never forsake you,
nor condemn you, because he understands you, as long as you repent. And
he'd help slimfit every mouth that is too big to shut itself. Amen.
God bless you, Shalom.
