Be light footed.(B)
Matthew 10:22-23 ( KJV)
"[22] And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved. [23] But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come."
You are a sojourner here on earth. Don't get too comfortable wherever you find yourself. Your home is in Christ. As much as you are not afraid, know when to flee. The Lord said; "Be wise." Retreating is one of the strategies of warfare. You don't just retreat and hide, you keep yourself busy until the right moment to make an appearance.
The Angel of the Lord instructed Joseph to flee with Mary and her child. Moses fled Egypt, and came back at the right time. When Abraham was born, he was hidden from the King and the wisemen.
John 6:14-15(NIV)
"14.After the people saw the sign Jesus performed, they began to say, “Surely this is the Prophet who is to come into the world.” 15.Jesus, knowing that they intended to come and make him king by force, withdrew again to a mountain by himself."
You can even withdraw from certain opportunities that are not the will of God. People may say you aren't smart, but let it be. Jesus didn't just withdraw from opportunities, he fled danger!
