 The mandate.

There's a mandate for every disciple of our Lord Jesus.

Matthew 10:1, 7–8 (KJV)

"[1] And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.

[7] And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. [8] Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give."

We are called and ordained to go and bear much fruit. Our fruit is ministration, and in the process, transformation of lives. Our mandate is to multiply ourselves in others, making others disciples of Jesus and travailing for them until Christ is fully formed in them. Till they are whole and reliable for the master's use.

In order to carry out this mission, we need power. In order to effectively minister salvation, we need to free many from bondage. There's captivity, there's pain, there's guile.

Even if the Lord Jesus Christ isn't here anymore, He wants us to continue His ministry. He came to give life, and He came to heal, to liberate all that were oppressed of the devil.

We continue in same light. He says, "Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils."

He's given us power over all unclean spirits. It doesn't matter the size or shape of the demon. It doesn't matter their brag records in the satanic hall of fame.

Freely you have received; freely you shall give.

Be careful about making merchandise of the church as a disciple. The gifts of God are not for sale. The Lord's love and fellowship is not for sale. Of course the work of God needs money; allow God to disappoint your supply, instead of making merchandise of the church. Let the believers give according to the measure of their faith. Of course they should be taught kingdom prosperity principles. Don't coerce them of their fortune or livelihood.

God is able to bring money out of the belly of the fish if their hands are tight-fisted.

Don't use the gifts of the Holy Spirit to build monuments for yourself. The Lord would cause you to find divine and earthly material favour. The Lord would give you your reward; just be patient. He's stacking up good treasures for you. Praise God.

Don't store up your treasures here on earth—cars, houses, money, etc. Imagine storing up cowries; of what use are they now? They are useless. But the ones who planted palm trees in those days still have something of great value, though it's not monetary.

The real riches are stored up in heaven. These earthly riches would perish.
