Chase:  A Journey Into Love, Mystery, and Vulnerability

   With

The Woman Like an Eclipse

She’s like the appearing of an eclipse

Visible only when the sun and moon intertwine on the same path.

She shines like the sun in its radiance,

Moving gently across the sky, glowing with a brilliance that humbles me.

Yet somehow, she remains difficult to grasp.

Whenever I try to reach for her soul,

She slips away to an island of the unknown.

Fragile, yet bold.

Bold enough to strip my heart of its armor,

Bold enough to hold a lion’s gaze from a world both close and far.

Trying to hold her is like expecting the moon to escape the night

And show up hours too early.

Even that happens

So why can’t we?

She stands before me.

I blink, and suddenly she’s gone again

A mystery I’m still trying to unfold.

She astonishes me.

Every time.

Come now, my love.

Let’s make history.

You speak so little,

Yet I hear a faint cry;

A whisper calling out to me.

Send me your address,

A place where, when I look,

You’ll be there.

Because I’m coming near.

Swear you won’t disappear,

That you won’t dance away like the wind chasing leaves.

I want to love  you—

In a way you feel safe,

Where even if your heart races,

Your legs will stay.

If you must leave,

Let it be only to follow your heart…

And let your heart lead back to me.

Let Me Find You

I see the way you look at me—

Shy, flashy smiles,y

Bright, innocent eyes.

I am no monster.

I can be gentle like the evening breeze

If you’d only let me in.

Whatever sport you play,

I’ll learn it gladly—

Even if it’s the game of chasing after you.

All I’m asking is simple:

Stop running.

Let me find you.

It’s okay to fall in love.

My arms are ready to catch you.

She’s a mirror to me:

Reflecting parts of myself I never knew existed.

Her soft lips and quiet smiles set my heart ablaze.

She draws me like a magnet from a great distance,

Filling me with a desire I’m not acquainted with.

She enchants with naivety,

Dazzles with tranquility,

Captures me with feigned ignorance,

Pretending not to notice I’m watching her

Both near and far.

Love, indeed, is a jungle

Where bold lions fall to the eyes of wandering does.

Have it all

My body, my heart, my love, my soul.

The Nature of Real Love

Love is brave.

Love rises again and again, even after the pain.

Love says:

“I choose to love you the same,

Even when your smile dims

And your eyes grow tired with age.

I choose to love you.”

Many love deeply, but are not loved in return.

It makes them want to give up.

But know this—love never fails.

Some become predators because they were broken:

Disappointed, abandoned, deceived. Used and rejected.

Fooled, ridiculed, or scorned.

Some fought with everything in them, Only to watch their efforts burn to ashes.

If love dissipated after all was said and done,

It was never love.

The Example of God’s Love

Even after Lucifer fell, God still allowed him into His courts.

He gave Lucifer the freedom he craved

Because He remembered who he once was.

Yet, because God is just, judgment awaits him.

No one knows the mind of God except those to whom He reveals it.

And we are called to emulate that love: Stainless, impeccable.

Love is an expression of the soul.

Ethereal.

Intangible.

A blend of desire and value.

Desire to commune, protect, nurture, and care.

Love is not obsessive.

It can be possessive, as we guard what we cherish.

Love is patient. Love forgives.

Love is interdependence...

A mutual transformation of two complete individuals.

It is vulnerability deposited into the bank of safety

Provided by the one you love.

Love says:

“This is me, flawed and crooked. Will you stay?

Will you love me the same?”

Love holds no pride, no maliciousness—not even in rejection.

It seeks the beloved’s happiness,

Even if that happiness isn’t you.

What Love Truly Is

Love is loyalty.

Love is faithfulness.

Love is commitment and satisfaction.

There is no deception in love.

No mind games.

No manipulation.

Love—in every form, shape, and color—is pure.

Everyone deserves to love and be loved.

And when love finally finds you,

Guard it jealously.
