Humanity

It's beyond empathy.

It's not just a sense of duty and obligation...

It's the realization that we are all united, that we are one, that we were made to complement each other, and we are better when we stand together.

It's the desire to hear the heartbeat of a stranger,

To feel the rhythm of his soul,

To be a home for the wanderer,

To comfort the ones you meet just once in a lifetime, even when you are fully aware you'd never see them again.

It's the need to give without expectation or compensation.

Humanity is the thirst for justice and equity—for peace and stability.

It's the desire to be the source of someone's happiness. To give hope.

To render service diligently... When all hope has fainted.

Humanity is believing in a world that has just too many blemishes.

Can we all embrace humanity?

The greatest asset one can have is a golden heart in a dubious civilization.

The indispensable wealth is that which is garrisoned deep beneath one's
 breast.

It is the treasure of love untainted. Love so true and pure.

A love that defies the boundaries of race, gender, language, and national borders.

A boundless love that is bold and fierce.

That is what really counts.

Let us all know our acts of kindness are making a change. Little or

 humongous... It makes a difference.

There's no greater expression of love than self-denial, in order to birth a

 unique purpose.

You should no longer live for yourself, but for me. And I shouldn't exist for myself, but for you.

If we genuinely live for one another, we could be the ultimate "One Big Happy Family."

My friends, what matters more than the testimony of a man's impact

after he has been laid to rest?

What could be said about you?

Never mind if you don't get to hear a "thank you" and that you don't get

to say "it was my utmost pleasure."

I want you to know we are all making an impact. Your sacrifices, your

dedication, your efforts... Don't stop. You are planting seeds that will blossom

in due season. You are changing lives. You are the reason one found hope

again, and another a desire to live.

You are the morning dew to some... And the perfect role model to others.

You are the present future of a little boy, and to another, you mean the whole

 world.

You aren't meant to exist for yourself. We are meant to coexist, like the many

droplets of water that facilitate a water wave.

Without you, there is no me, and without me, there is no you. You live

because I live, and I live because you live. I am who I am because you need

me, and you are you, because there's no one else like you. In the whole world,

there's no one else like you.

I may shine brighter, but you may speak louder... And if we come together

to unite for a sole purpose... I could be your radiance, and you could be my

voice, because we are one body.

So why then do we fight for lands? Why do we covet one another's resources?

Your loss should be mine, and your victories should be my joy.

Did the disciples of the Lord Jesus know at the time of their writing,

that their message would resound over two thousand years later?

And their epistles would be used to edify the body of Christ every Sunday?

Perhaps if they had known they would have eaten less, and cared less

about themselves. Yet in the absence of this knowledge they gave it their all.

Kindness is not expensive. It is just a key to bring out genuine happiness

from others. Doesn't matter how deeply they've tucked it away. Kindness

 cultivates happiness.

The lives we live teach people how to be better, no, how to be the very best.

Selfishness is self-decay and self-imprisonment. Every river is meant to flow,

we all have living waters flowing within us, and these rivers seek to interact

with others. Trapping these waters makes them stagnant, and they get

poisonous, dirty, even uninhabitable. Every good thing in it dies.

Selflessness makes you greater and greater, because you are a servant of all.

 Humanity is service.

Humanity is recognizing fear, pain, life, and similarity beneath the flesh of

 others.

Can we all be more human?

Can we stop the violence? The fraudulent schemes? The gender-based hatred,

the racial criticism, the classism and bias? Without the poor, there is no rich,

and without the rich, there is no poor. Without the ugly, there's no

significance in beauty, and without the beautiful, there's no recognition

of the ugly. Everyone complements the other and gives a pedestal for

others to shine.

Let us own ourselves, our tribes, our nationalities, and that very

thing that makes us unique. It doesn't matter if it's something the world

dislikes, it's your unique mark, own it.

Hermaphrodites, cripples, merged twins, the visually impaired, and many

others all have the same thing with us. They are humans, let us give them

their place in this world, and accept them as they are. If we cannot cure

them, we can give them good memories.

A kind smile with a sincere good morning greeting can make

someone's day much more radiant.

Helping an old lady get on a bus wouldn't slow down your pace in a fast-

moving globe.

A charity donation wouldn't make you any less of you. It would make you even more.

The tap that gives water has its thirst quenched first.

Let us be content with our gifts, and acknowledge the differences in others.

Let us admire the uniqueness in each human and be one another's ladder.

Let us all feel and answer the call of humanity. Together, as "One Big Happy

Family," we can heal her wounds and stop her bleeding heart.
