The glamour of pain
Pain is a necessary evil,
A devious companion who's enmity is healthy.
Pain is a two faced foe who enhances your rise
From doom to glory.
In pain wisdom comforts you;
Sobriety comes to check up on you,
Innovation comes to ask after your well-being.
They all seat together and make you a fine meal.
Uncertainty laughs at your face, but courage
Waves him off.
When you eat at the breakfast table of pain,
The illusions are quenched.
Reality engulfs your stomach and
You are bloated by truth.
You may feel numb, like after every good meal,
Yet there's a sudden strength that comes after the
Digestion of it.
Tears,
The red carpet that you tread upon
The very carpet pain sets before you
That leads you to...
Your glamourous uprising.
Pain: The Silent Teacher
Pain is one of life’s most profound paradoxes — both a curse and a guide. It is the uninvited visitor that enters unannounced, disrupts peace, and yet, in its harshness, teaches the most unforgettable lessons. No one desires pain, yet it remains the greatest sculptor of human strength and depth.
Pain is not always physical. Sometimes, it is the ache of loss, the sting of rejection, or the emptiness of betrayal. It hides in the silence of sleepless nights and the heaviness of unspoken words. Emotional pain can be far more crippling than physical wounds because it lingers, echoing in the corners of the mind long after the moment has passed.
Yet, pain serves a purpose. It awakens awareness: it shows where healing is needed. Pain humbles, grounds, and refines the soul. Through it, we learn empathy, patience, and resilience. We begin to understand others not through sympathy, but through shared suffering.
In its purest form, pain is transformation. It strips away illusions, revealing truth in its rawest form. It teaches us to value peace because we have known chaos, and to treasure love because we have tasted loss. Pain forces growth. It breaks us open so something stronger, wiser, and more compassionate can emerge.
We cannot escape pain, but we can embrace its lessons. To live is to feel, and to feel deeply is to be alive. So rather than run from pain, let it speak. Listen to what it reveals, endure its process, and when the storm clears, you will find yourself renewed: scarred, perhaps, but beautifully stronger.
Pain is not the end; it is the beginning of deeper understanding.

Dealing With Pain
There are some circumstances we genuinely have no control over. Regardless of the outcome, learn to hold your chaos. Even in the midst of chaos, the most beautiful things can be birthed.
Controlling your emotions doesn’t necessarily mean suppressing them. It means redirecting their destructive tendencies into recreative purposes.
Do not fear pain. Embrace it with open arms.
It is like a child who throws a tantrum but suddenly calms down when embraced.
Allow yourself to feel the emotion. Let it flow through you. Absorb it.
That is how you become immune to it. That is how you grow stronger.
The more you run away from it, the more power it has over you.
Learn to look your demons dead in the eye.
When fear dissipates, you strip pain of its armour.
Pain is healing.
Pain is strength.
Pain is growth.
Pain is a silent teacher.
Pain makes you wise. It makes you decisive and grounded.

Even the Lord Jesus said, “Except a corn of wheat enters the ground and dies, it abides alone; but when it enters, it springs up, bringing more fruit.”
He did not despise the pain and shame of the cross, He embraced it.
Pain, in both the spiritual and physical sense, is an amplifier of growth.
In the spiritual sense, sacrifice is painful. It is painful to let go of something you hold dear and valuable. Sacrifices are painful, hence they yield much fruit.
In the physical sense, the pain of discipline births value, greatness, and glory.
