THE LOST SHEEP
1 Peter 2:25 (KJV)
“[25] For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.”
You once had the Spirit of God, so how did you wallow your way into becoming a bootlicker in the occult?
You were a soul winner, passionate about preaching the gospel as a young adult—so what are you doing in the marine kingdom? Ignorance!
Now they wake you up for meetings in the middle of the night, and you like to sleep, but now you can’t. They send you on errands—“Go and sleep with this one, that one.” Are they helping you treat your infection? The same mother you’ve been asked to kill is still the one sending you pocket money to treat that infection.
And now they send you to destroy Christians you can’t go near because they are burning with fire. And you’re watching them… Don’t you sit down to think?
How did they get you? Don’t you want to go back to your first love? There are some men who, once their wives sleep with another, even though they are chronic cheats, want nothing more to do with her. But see what God says:
The refurbished bride
Hosea 2:5-7, 12-14, 17, 19-20, 23 (KJV)
"[5] For their mother hath played the harlot: she that conceived them hath done shamefully: for she said, I will go after my lovers, that give me my bread and my water, my wool and my flax, mine oil and my drink. [6] Therefore, behold, I will hedge up thy way with thorns, and make a wall, that she shall not find her paths. [7] And she shall follow after her lovers, but she shall not overtake them; and she shall seek them, but shall not find them: then shall she say, I will go and return to my first husband; for then was it better with me than now.
[12] And I will destroy her vines and her fig trees, whereof she hath said, These are my rewards that my lovers have given me: and I will make them a forest, and the beasts of the field shall eat them. [13] And I will visit upon her the days of Baalim, wherein she burned incense to them, and she decked herself with her earrings and her jewels, and she went after her lovers, and forgat me, saith the LORD. [14] Therefore, behold, I will allure her, and bring her into the wilderness, and speak comfortably unto her.
[17] For I will take away the names of Baalim out of her mouth, and they shall no more be remembered by their name.
[19] And I will betroth thee unto me for ever; yea, I will betroth thee unto me in righteousness, and in judgment, and in lovingkindness, and in mercies. [20] I will even betroth thee unto me in faithfulness: and thou shalt know the LORD.
[23] And I will sow her unto me in the earth; and I will have mercy upon her that had not obtained mercy; and I will say to them which were not my people, Thou art my people; and they shall say, Thou art my God."
You ate a strange cake shared in church. You ate food at a party. You drank refreshments mixed with blood. You befriended the wrong association.
The Lord still has His eyes on you, and He will cut you off from the source. You are a worker in the house of God—an usher, an instrumentalist—but a boy-boy in the marine kingdom. Are you not tired?
Now is come salvation! If you are able to confess your sins and call upon the name of the Lord, He will save you. Repent and depart from the camp of the devil. God is mighty to save, mighty to deliver.
In your teenage years, you were introduced to a ritualist. You sacrificed your manhood, or you vowed that any girl you sleep with would be used for your money ritual. Now you are older, you’ve met a girl you love, but you can’t be with her. You are afraid.
That is why Jesus has come. He knows. He doesn’t condemn. He’s come to give you a helping hand.
Hebrews 4:15-16 KJV
"[15] For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. [16] Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need."
The Lord Jesus doesn’t condemn. He doesn’t ask too many questions—“Why did you do it? Did you not know you weren’t supposed to?” He doesn’t judge. All He simply does is make you whole and say, “Your sins are forgiven you.”
2 Corinthians 1:3 KJV
"[3] Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort."
His mercies are as the mountain dew—unquantifiable, unsearchable, ever new, ever sure, cool and refreshing. The mercy of God vitalizes you and gives you hope: hope for a better tomorrow, hope for glory, hope for novelty.
Say these words and mean them:
"Father Lord, Creator of all power and spirits, giver of life and every good thing, thank You for this message. Thank You for the knowledge that has come to me. My Creator, my Maker. I am a sinner. Please have mercy on me. You are able to wash away my sins and make me whole through Your Son, Jesus Christ.
I renounce every work of unrighteousness and iniquity. Please save me and pardon my ignorance.
I accept Jesus Christ: Your Son and my Redeemer, as my Lord and Savior.
I believe He died to save me. I accept His salvation and name Him Lord of my life: Lord of my heart, my spirit, my soul, and my body.
Thank You, Lord. I am born again. I receive eternal life into my spirit. Amen."
The return
If you were once born again and you backslid, this prayer is for you:
"Oh Lord my God, my Father, my Maker, I come before You in repentance. Lord, I have strayed from the path. I gave in to sin and was separated from You because of ignorance; my heart departed from You.
Lord, I’m sorry. Please forgive me. Have mercy on me. I repent. Lord, save me! Extricate me from this contract I have made with devils. Please give me strength to resist temptation and to stand for You.
I cannot undo all the works that I have done against Your kingdom, but Lord, as You had mercy on Saul of Tarsus, please have mercy on me and use me for Your glory.
Lord, I ask for wisdom and understanding so I will not depart from You. Lord Jesus, my Mediator and High Priest, please cleanse my soul and spirit. Translate me from death to life by Your Spirit. Amen."
---
The Bible says, “Come boldly before the throne of grace and obtain mercy.”
We are in the age of God’s grace—grace that works salvation, grace for a right standing with God. Obtain mercy and grace to help in the time of need.
(Pray in the spirit.)
This is a time of deliverance. I cut you off and dissociate you from every ungodly covenant.
1 Peter 2:24–25 (CEV)
“[24] Christ carried the burden of our sins. He was nailed to the cross so we would stop sinning and start living right. By His cuts and bruises you are healed.
[25] You had wandered away like sheep. Now you have returned to the One who is your Shepherd and Protector.”
