CHAPTER TWENTY-SEVEN: YOU WILL RISE AGAIN

 

Judges 16:21–22, 28–30 AMP

"[21] Then the Philistines seized him and gouged out his eyes; and

they brought him down to Gaza and bound him with [two] bronze 

chains; and he was forced to be a grinder [of grain into flour at the 

mill] in the prison. [22] But the hair of his head began to grow again 

after it had been shaved off.


 

[28] Then Samson called to the Lord and said, “O Lord God, please 

remember me and please strengthen me just this one time, O God, 

and let me take vengeance on the Philistines for my two eyes.” [29] 

Samson took hold of the two middle [support] pillars on which the 

house rested, and braced himself against them, one with his right 

hand and the other with his left. [30] And Samson said, “Let me die 

with the Philistines!” And he stretched out with all his might 

[collapsing the support pillars], and the house fell on the lords and 

on all the people who were in it. So the dead whom he killed at his 

death were more than those whom he had killed during his life."




 

One of the beautiful things about the apostles of old is that they knew how to

 rise very quickly, dust their garments, and continue being about their

 business regardless of what transpired moments behind them.



If Samson had said a different prayer and asked the Lord to help him escape,

 the Lord would have granted his request because his hair began to grow

 again.

Let it be unto every man according to his faith.



It doesn't matter what knocks you down. You lost a spouse, an opportunity, a

 loved one, or even your will to fight.

You will rise again. I tell you, get up and walk.



One of the ways the devil torments people is through their loved ones. If he

 can't get you, your loved ones become the arena in which he demonstrates

 his wickedness. The question is, would you still be standing?


We are soldiers. We don't make deals with the devil or try to please him. We

 also know how to cut off distractions.


So what happens when he comes after your finances? Your business? You give

 glory to God and remain on track. You don't stop. You may be slower, but

 never quit.


It is expedient to have an eagle's eye to recognize your Delilahs.



A Delilah is anything or anyone that searches for weaknesses in you.


As long as the Lord is your strength and the Rock of your salvation, no true

 weakness can prevail against you.


So, no matter where you are... no matter what circumstances you find

 yourself in, you will rise again. Only believe.






The Spirit of the Lord has anointed me to give hope and heal the

 brokenhearted.

I speak change. I speak life into every aspect of your life and into every atom

 of your being. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk!





A Prayer for You

May the Lord strengthen your heart and impose on you a fortified shock

 absorber. May He preserve you through every fire and uplift your head

 above every flood. May His wrath descend on every obstacle, and may His

 light illuminate your path now and always. Amen.
