CHAPTER THIRTY - THREE: FEAR; THE ULTIMATE LUCIFERIAN WEAPON

 

1 Kings 19:1-3 NLT

"[1] When Ahab got home, he told Jezebel everything Elijah had done, including

 the way he had killed all the prophets of Baal. [2] So Jezebel sent this message

 to Elijah: “May the gods strike me and even kill me if by this time tomorrow I

 have not killed you just as you killed them.” [3] Elijah was afraid and fled for

 his life. He went to Beersheba, a town in Judah, and he left his servant there."

Elijah fled into the wilderness and couldn't even trust his servant with his whereabouts. He couldn't flee into anybody's house. He fled to a cave.

He called on the Lord to take his life, because he sought peace, but peace was too luxurious to attain because of his caliber as "The Called."

So when the sons of God begin to step into their inheritance, there are signs. Devils recognize these signs by star reading and they try as much as possible to set malignant traps in the way to their destination.

What would you do if you are a primal target in the kingdom of darkness, and you've been reported in every senior coven by reason of association with the Lord, and his magnificent benevolence towards you?

Because Joseph was the apple of his father's eye, his own siblings despised him greatly, and they sought occasion to kill him. If one of them hadn't had a slight change of heart, they wouldn't have thrown him into the pit, or sold him off. They would have murdered him in cold blood. Jacob would have cried and cried, but eventually he'd move on and have many sons. When Jacob found out his son was murdered, he found a new favorite— Benjamin.

If not for Jacob's undeniable love for Joseph, maybe—just maybe—Joseph wouldn't have been isolated, and would have been able to peacefully cohabit with his brothers. To peacefully walk with them, and enjoy the companionship of his kinsmen. But he was treated as a leper.

Could Jacob ever have imagined his own sons were out to kill their own brother under his nose? From the way they constantly complained about Joseph, he would have known there was some level of jealousy, and sometimes he might have perceived Joseph as young, proud, and ignorant. But had he known every time Joseph appeared before him, in the presence of his brothers he was risking his life... Maybe he would have found a way to protect his beloved.

Joseph may have known they intended to harm him, but how could he report his own brothers? And where was the legal proof?

But God's mercy found Joseph, and the angel of the Lord took over the mouth of one of his brothers and said "Let us sell him off."

God took him to a strange land and gave him a new purpose, even far away from his beloved father; but even there, his gifts sold him out, and once again, his life was at risk.

Until death. Having a mindset to fight until death is the ultimate defense. What hinders many is, can God really protect me? Would God personalize my battles and be there for me? Even if I'm falsely accused?

Because we love God, we are bold. And like Elijah, we might flee at the sense of danger, but God never fails. God is powerful, and ferocious, and more than able to protect us. Because...

"If God be for you, who can be against you?"

So then, are we not supposed to put our trust in God? He is not incapable. If we draw nearer to him, and show him our love for him is without redemption, and without borders... If we show him we are loyal to him, we revere and adore him without season, he would stand up for us... Even in the face of false accusations and evil schemes.

We ought to believe in the jealousy of God's love. Even if we die, it would be for a noble purpose, chasing a noble cause.

That is why Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego boldly declared

"Oh King Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter. We would not bow to this golden image. Our God is mighty to protect us from this furnace. And even if he doesn't, we would still not bow."

So in chasing purpose, it's a conviction. Being too careful hinders. Seasonal withdrawal is timely, and prophetic... But fear should have no dwelling place among us.

We ought to continually profess with our faith the outcome we want. Taming every opposition and challenge, till we conquer.

I affirm:

'Against all odds, I will fight toward my purpose.

My life is hidden in Christ.

I live; I am alive. I can't die.

Christ is my formidable fortress, and omnipotent wall of defense.

I am always aware.

God protects me from the snare of the fowler.

Every trap laid for me is neutralized by God's angels.

He has given me dominion, to reign, to rule, and to conquer.

I subdue every satanic opposition, and I overcome every luciferian agenda against my purpose, in Jesus' name, amen.'

A PRAYER FOR YOU.

Our God is a mighty warrior, Jehovah is His name. For your sake may he stand up from his throne, bow the heavens and come down, and rain down arrows at all your adversaries. May he hear your silent whisper, and come to your rescue. May he order your steps, and snatch you out of every siege. May you hold your peace, and may the Lord fight for you. Amen.
