These items pleased my mother, and  because he pleased my mother, I started paying attention to him. One day, he offended me, and I withdrew.   Vulnerability is a demonstration of Quiet Strength .  It is withholding the power to flee, to hide, to question, to doubt, to judge, to condemn— and allowing oneself to bleed.
