QUOTES (PHASE 2)

Vulnerability is a demonstration of Quiet Strength

It is withholding the power to flee, to hide, to question, to doubt, to judge, to condemn—

and allowing oneself to bleed. To bleed fear, to bleed the looming threat of rejection,

failure, and scorn.

Vulnerability is where faith thrives. We all know faith is a mustard seed, right?

This art inspires the idea that some doors—so imposing, so invincible, so inconceivable,
so fortified—require a soft touch, a gentle penetration, a fragile ego… and then comes

the creaking, even the unlocking of that door.

We grow in life as we move from one stage to another. And as we grow, we must

discard certain sandals. It takes vulnerability to let go of the old in search of the new,

knowing fully well that one’s bare feet may be exposed to danger.

It takes vulnerability to hope, and to trust the process. It takes vulnerability to wait for

certain seasons to pass so that others may be embraced.

It takes vulnerability to experience the fullest expression of life’s greatest gift—the

ability to love, and to be loved in return. And it takes vulnerability to show that love.

Have you discovered all you have? Have you seen the best of you? Are you well

acquainted with your potential? Have you discovered your true self—not the part of

you shaped by the opinion of others, but the part of you that is untainted and

constant?

Self discovery is a journey that could take a moment or several years.

It could come as a  sudden realization, or a transillumination. There's nothing small

about discovering who you truly are; and, taking courage to walk in that light.

There’s an intelligent kind of nonsense to recklessness. Recklessness is the red carpet

upon which courage treads.

Danger is a veil over majesty, and crossing through the valley of the shadow of death

leads you to pleasant treasures.

Fear, danger, and potential harm can be indicators of immense gains. Just as where

there’s smoke, there’s warmth, light, and fire, so too, where there’s fear—beneath that

frightening cloak—there may be happiness, fulfillment, and success.

There isn’t a guarantee that everything that scares you holds something beneficial, but

you’d never know if you don’t stretch out your arms.

If it scares you, there may be something great about it.

If it doesn’t scare you, intimidate you, or challenge you, it most certainly isn’t worth it.
