Is My Name In The Book Of Life?

 

Among the many trees in the Bible, there's the tree of life.

Among the many rivers, there's the fountain of living water.

These are some of the treasures of heaven.

There are many scripts and scrolls in heaven. All for their purposes.

So also, there is the Book of Remembrance, the Book of Deeds, and the

 Book of Life.

You read certain passages in the Holy Bible

"And God remembered his covenant with Abraham"

"And God remembered this"  "And God remembered that..."

There are Angels who come before the Mercy Seat and tell God:

"Almighty Sovereign King, remember your servant..."

God never forgets, but He has placed intercessors who ought to play their 

roles, and bring certain seasons to remembrance.

Beloved, this is your time of remembrance. This is your time for God to 

favour you. This is your time for God to bless you.

When the Book of Remembrance is opened, may your name be called in the

 Royal Court of heaven for divine, material, and earthly favour.

Now that we know we are surrounded by heavenly watchers who scribble 

our deeds, why don't we conduct ourselves rightly?

Our charity, our faith, our labour of love, and our shortcomings, these are

all written in the Book of Deeds, and these will determine how we would 

Spend eternity.

Our works would pass through the fire to know our motives, and our

actions would be weighed on scales.

That secret fault you are doing when the lights are out, there are angels who 

are writing it down. When your name is mentioned for promotion,

they would weigh the scales. When God is looking for a righteous man to

bless, they would weigh the scales.

Guess what? On the great Day of Judgement, your deeds would

be read before everyone. All of creation would know you ate your tithe and 

Offerings. They'd know your stealing skills are far more legendary than

 Judas'.

They would know how much you were pressured, but you did not quit.

Everyone would see your private battles, the number of times you resisted 

temptation, and the number of times you brought iniquity to your very own

 doorstep.

How can you be so sure that your name is in the book of life?

1 John 3:1 (BSB)

"1.See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called

 children of God—and we are!† Because of this, the world does not know us,

 because it did not know Him.

 2.Beloved, now we are children of God, and what we will be was not yet made

 manifest. We know that if He should be made manifest, we will be like Him, for

 we will see Him just as He is. 

3And everyone having this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.

4Everyone who is doing sin also does lawlessness; and sin is lawlessness.† 5And

 you⁺ know that He appeared so that He should take away sins;† and in Him

 there is no sin. 6Everyone who is remaining in Him does not sin; everyone who

 is sinning has not seen Him, nor has he known Him.

7Little children,† let no one lead you⁺ astray; the one doing righteousness is

 righteous, just as He is righteous. 8The one doing sin is of the devil, because the

 devil is sinning from the beginning. For this the Son of God was made manifest,

 so that He might destroy the works of the devil.

9Everyone having been born of God does not do sin, because His seed remains in

 him, and he is not able to sin, because he has been born of God. 10In this the

 children of God and the children of the devil are manifest: everyone not doing

 righteousness is not of God, and the one not loving his brother.

There are two things to check:

Do you have the life of God in you?

 Do you have the love of God in you?

Do not be deceived, God cannot be mocked. Whatever a man sows, 

he would reap.

Do not let any man fool you! If you are sinning, you are going to hell.

If you hate any of your brothers and sisters in Christ, you are going to hell!

If you are jealous, envious, and spiteful, you do not have the life of God in

 you.

What you practice is religion, and maybe Buddha is your god, or the Sun god. 

Not the Father of our Lord Jesus. I write this respectfully.

Except your heart be as light as a feather, and your soul be as white as wool,

Your name has no inking on the page of the book of life.

What makes the heart heavy?

Lust, greed, pride, covetousness, anger, bitterness, jealousy, contempt,

Wickedness, lawlessness, and similar vices.

Do not allow any preacher fool you. The grace of Jesus Christ is for those

Who fight their way out of sin. If you are very comfortable in sin, with all

your labour and sacrifice, you would not have a place in the Kingdom of God.

Galatians 5:19-21 KJV

'[19] Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication,

 uncleanness, lasciviousness, [20] idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations,

 wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, [21] envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, 

and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that

 they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.'

Such an individual living in sin may still feel the anointing, he/she may

 still be doing the works, but on the day of judgement the 

Lord would say:

"Depart from me, I do not know you,"

And they would say, "But I cast out demons in your name, I did the

 works!"  

Matthew 7:21-23.

Obedience is better than sacrifice.

Crucify yourself now, or allow the flames of hell to crucify you.

Repent from your sins (Wickedness, disobedience, adultery, fornication,

 hatred, pride, witchcraft, occultism.)

Call upon the Lord now that His hand is near, and His mercy is still flowing 

for all generations.

Draw near to God, and He would draw near to you. 

But I congratulate you, for you are not of this world, you are of God, 

because you have eternal life, and your heart is filled with

 the love of Christ.

1 John 3:14-15, 21-24 (BSB)

"14.We know that we have passed out of death into life, because we love our

 brothers. The one not loving† remains in death. 15.Everyone hating his brother

 is a murderer; and you⁺ know that any murderer does not have eternal life

 remaining in him.

21.Beloved, if our heart may not condemn us, we have confidence toward God,

 22.and whatever we may ask, we receive from Him, because we keep His

 commandments and we do the things pleasing before Him. 23.And this is His

 commandment, that we should believe in the name of His Son, Jesus Christ, and

 we should love one another, just as He gave the commandment to us.† 24.And

 the one keeping His commandments remains in Him, and He in him. And in this

 we know that He remains in us: by the Spirit whom He gave to us."

Romans 8:16 (NKJV)

16The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God.'

So when the Lord Jesus came and He said "I have come that they might

 have life  and have it to the full..." He meant He came to have

 our names written in the Book of Life, so that after this age,

 we can live forever!

As long as I have eternal life, and my heart is filled with love, I know 

that my name is in the book of life, and the Spirit Of God bears me witness.

Prayer.

'Father of Mercy, God of justice and equity, You alone are God. You rule the 

World with truth and grace.

Gracious heavenly Father, You have crowned me with the Spirit of adoption 

To make me one with You, and the Spirit of truth to guide me.

Reveal to me every area I'm lacking, and strengthen me to walk in a

way pleasing to you. Lord search my heart, and remove everything that 

displeases You. I want to love You in a way no other human could, let 

all that I am be pleasing to You now, even till Your kingdom comes.

Let my name be written in the Book of Life, and let me inherit your kingdom 

by Your divine grace and mercy.'
