Everything, Beautiful, Everything Colourful, Everything Brand New!
Isaiah 65:19, 21, 24 (KJV)
“And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying.
And they shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them.
And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.”
It doesn’t matter how ugly the situation looks.
It doesn’t matter how hopeless, dry, chaotic, or distressing things may be.
There can be beauty in the place of ashes.
Have you ever seen a building burnt to the ground? A charred, ruined temple that once inspired awe and now breathes dread and desolation?
Yet, even that can rise again—stronger, more glorious.
A place once destroyed can become a haven of peace for the weary and broken.
A spectacle of God’s power. A glimmer of hope in a dark world.
God is the Master Builder. The Restorer. The Finisher.
What has been razed in your life? God can raise it.
He lifts beggars from the dunghill and sets them among princes.
And guess what? No one can stop it.
He is able to do a complete turnaround in your life.
He’s done it before. He will do it again.
Remember Israel.
They starved so greatly that they turned to cannibalism.
They had no idea that a miracle was already underway.
Suddenly, the army besieging them fled overnight!
It was a quick work. (2 Kings 6:24-30)
It happened with Joseph too!
He interpreted dreams freely in prison.
He was overlooked, forgotten, betrayed.
But he never stopped being diligent.
And then, one day…
One day!
Someone said,
“I know a man…”
That man was Joseph. (Genesis 41:9-13).
And he stood before the king and nobles.
He spoke, and that moment marked his turnaround.
Proverbs 18:16 (KJV))
“A man’s gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men.”
Just two seconds.
A divine metamorphosis.
A sudden shift in state and estate.
In my tribe, we call Him “The God of Two Seconds.”
He is a miracle-working God.
In His presence, there is peace.
In His presence, there is joy.
In His presence, there is laughter and divine favour.
Have you heard this before?
"People will fall over themselves to favour you—and thank you for the opportunity to do so."
There is hope for you.
Do not despair.
Sorrow may last for the night, but joy comes in the morning.
Isaiah 65:23 (KJV)
“They shall not labour in vain, nor bring forth for trouble; for they are the seed of the blessed of the LORD, and their offspring with them.”
Some people rejoice over your reproach.
They thank God for your misfortunes.
They glory in your pain, forgetting how you once interceded for them in their own low places.
But hear the word of the Lord:
Isaiah 65:13-14 (KJV)
“Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, my servants shall eat, but ye shall be hungry: behold, my servants shall drink, but ye shall be thirsty: behold, my servants shall rejoice, but ye shall be ashamed:
Behold, my servants shall sing for joy of heart, but ye shall cry for sorrow of heart, and shall howl for vexation of spirit.”
The Lord Himself will wipe away your tears.
Isaiah 65:17-19 (KJV)
“For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.
But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.
And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying.”
The works of our God are eternal: unchanging, unfailing.
Therefore, rejoice!
2 Chronicles 7:14 (KJV)
“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways;
then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”
And the Lord will surely give you…
Beauty for Ashes.
A PRAYER FOR YOU:
May God bless you with plenty of corn and wine.
May your barns overflow.
May He restore the years the locust has eaten.
May He announce you for enormous blessings.
May your lips be beautified with testimonies,
Your heart coloured with gratitude.
May His face shine upon you and chase away every dark cloud.
“Tear-rubber” blessings shall locate you.
Ground-shaking rewards shall startle you.
And your life will be as radiant as the northern sky.
In Jesus' name,
Amen.
God bless you richly.
Shalom shalom!
