Balanced Diet

A balanced diet is the arrangement of a variety of foods comprising different nutrients in adequate proportions to meet health needs and support body maintenance.

Dieting refers to the regulation and careful selection of food intake to achieve weight goals or maintain a healthy lifestyle.

There are several types of dietary plans. These include diets for pollotarians, vegetarians, lacto-ovo vegetarians, ovo vegetarians, vegans, and lacto vegetarians. There are also special diets for lactating mothers, convalescent individuals, diabetic patients, people managing weight (weight gain or weight loss), ulcer patients, surgical patients, toddlers, middle-aged and elderly individuals, hypertensive patients, and many others.
Below are three dietary plans for weight loss, weight gain, and lactating mothers.

Weight loss weekly diet for both teenagers and adults

This enables cutting down but maintaining a healthy nutritious diet:

General tips (important):
Drink plenty of water (8–10 cups daily)
Avoid sugary drinks; take water or unsweetened tea
Use little palm oil/vegetable oil
Portion size matters more than cutting foods completely
Eat slowly and stop when satisfied

Healthy Snacks (choose 1–2 daily):
Fruits.
Roasted groundnuts (small handful).
Coconut slices.

Starvation and exhaustion are not the best methods to trim one's size, as the body requires nutrients to replenish skin, energy, and tissue.

Hence the vitality of a healthy diet should be emphasized always. Absence of healthy nutrients lead to impoverished health. Eat nutritious but dietary meals.
