CHAPTER TWENTY-NINE: A QUICK WORK
Isaiah 66:8 NLT
«"[8] Who has ever seen anything as strange as this? Who ever heard of such a
thing? Has a nation ever been born in a single day? Has a country ever come
forth in a mere moment? But by the time Jerusalem’s birth pains begin, her
children will be born.»
«[5] Hear the word of the LORD, ye that tremble at his word; Your brethren that
hated you, that cast you out for my name's sake, said, Let the LORD be
glorified: but he shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed.»
«[7] Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was
delivered of a man child."»
The ways of God are spontaneous and marvelous. He is the wonder-working God.
What seems like delay is simply the recipe for a miracle. You may feel barren,
but the Spirit in you isn't barren. You shall burst forth, and out of your belly
shall flow rivers of living water.
What is that thing that has been said about your life? You've been married
several years with no children. You've laboured and toiled, yet there is
nothing to write home about. For years, you've carried an expectation, and
you are on the verge of giving up.
Thus says the Spirit of the Living God: "A quick work." The Lord is doing a
quick work in your life. All things are working together for your good.
I declare, according to the power given to me:
"No more delay."
"Speed and enlargement."
For every hundred, you shall reap a thousand; and for every thousand, you
shall reap a million. And for every million...
Every shame is replaced with double honour, and every reproach with the oil
of gladness.
Angels are working for your sake. People are tumbling over themselves to
favour you. Helpers, resources, and materials are locating you. You shall do
well. Your tears are wiped away. Opportunities are locating you even right
now, and the wisdom of God is positioning you strategically for acceleration.
You are flying on the wings of the Spirit.
When men say there is a casting down, there is a lifting up.
In the mighty name of our Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.
May God's peace and blessings be upon you.
